Should You Vacuum Before Carpet Cleaning?
Lloyd’s Chem-Dry customers do not need to do too much to prepare for our carpet cleaning in Aurora. We provide a comprehensive cleaning service to remove soil and bacteria from carpet and upholstery. The service also includes vacuuming.
This means you do not need to vacuum before Lloyd’s Chem-Dry carpet cleaning service. You can vacuum if you prefer but you do not have to because we include it in our process.
Prior to our deep cleaning, our technician will use an industrial vacuum cleaner in order to remove surface-level debris and dirt.
He will vacuum the entire area we are cleaning including around the edges of the walls, in corners and underneath furniture.
The importance of vacuuming is significant and a necessary component to our service. This process removes loose debris and soils for better access to deeper, embedded germs and dirt.
It is important for homeowners to vacuum often as well. For standard areas, we recommend homeowners vacuum three or more times each week. For heavier traffic areas such as entryways, hallways and in front of furniture, we recommend four or more times each week.
A consistent vacuuming routine will significantly improve the chances of your carpet lasting for 10 years or even longer.
If you combine vacuuming with one professional carpet cleaning appointment every 12 months the chances increase even more.
